The WALL is Getting its Glitter On

The WALL fitness studio will be a lot more colorful this weekend.

The popular Sunset Boulevard studio is promoting the Center’s upcoming Glitter Run in a unique and dazzling way.

“We are going to have the entire weekend sparkly and glitter-filled,” said founder Jason Wimberly. “My store is very gray and black and white and it will be fun to get it dressed up. We are encouraging everyone to get dressed up sparkly or in neon. Anything colorful.”

All of the studio’s trainers are participating in the inaugural Glitter Run on August 20 and will help make it easy this Saturday and Sunday for existing clients or newcomers to sign up and join their ‘The WALL Squad’ team.

The WALL offers a signature workout known as ‘123 Stack’ which is comprised of 10 minutes of core activation, 20 minutes of high intensity circuit training and a 30 minute cardio spin.

Those new to the studio can sign up for their first class for free with no further obligation. Subsequent classes can then be purchased individually or in a package. Newcomers can sign up online for classes.

“We are going to have an iPad at check-in where people can register for the run and join our team,” explained Wimberly, who is a member of the Center’s Young Professionals Council. “L.A. is so last minute, so we are doing this last-minute push for anyone who has been dragging their feet.”

The 7-color, 5K fun run/walk travels a scenic route along Hollywood Boulevard in which participants will be sprinkled in seven colors of non-toxic washable glitter as they pass through seven glitter stations.

There is no fundraising required, just a $90 registration fee. Those who join “The WALL Squad” team this weekend and use the promo code “THEWALLSQUAD” will save $20 off the registration fee. Children 12 and under run/walk for free.

The run is followed by a Dazzling Dance Party that’s free with registration. This totally immersive experience will feature music from some of L.A.’s most celebrated D.J.’s and a dance floor with special lighting to showcase all the glimmering, glittery bodies.

The Glitter Run is created and produced by MZA Events.

As part of the weekend promotion, The WALL will also be selling an exclusive collection of shirts from Jason's Fairy Gay Mother line, with all proceeds benefiting the Center.
